2019 Makeup Looks With Discount Drug Mart

Today’s post is in partnership with Discount Drug Mart. All opinions are my own.

2019 is underway and let me tell you what…I am feeling good about what this year has to offer. Not in the sense that wonderful things will magically happen, but I’ve organized my goals and really understand what I need to do to accomplish them. And that’s such a good feeling!

Something that I’ve realized is that when I look my best I tend to be setting myself up for success. What do I want to do when I’m in my pajamas with no makeup on? Watch Netflix on the couch. But suddenly if I make myself look more put together then I feel like I can confidently tackle my goals.

With that being said, one of my goals for 2019 is to save more $$$. And all of us girls know that buying makeup is expensive. But that’s the beauty of drugstore makeup! You can look fabulous without breaking the bank. Plus, recently drugstore brands have really been upping their game and coming out with such incredible products!

If you’re looking for a one-stop shop for a variety of beauty products to help you slay 2019 then definitely make sure to check out Discount Drug Mart! Click here to find a Discount Drug Mart near you.  I recently stopped by and spent wayyyyy too long in their makeup aisle. I wanted pretty much everything and with brands like Elf, L’oreal, Maybelline, Wet N Wild and more can you really blame me? But in the end, decisions needed to be made and I’m so excited to tell you what I picked up! In the order of how I apply it…

  • Foundation: Maybelline Matte + Poreless in shade #120
  • Concealer: L’Oreal True Match in shade C1-2
  • Bronzer: Physicians Formula Sunkissed Butter Bronzer
  • Blush: Milani Baked Blush in shade Luminoso
  • Highlight: e.l.f. Highlight in shade Moonlight Pearls
  • Eyeshadow: Maybelline Soda Pop Palette
  • Eyeshadow Brush: e.l.f. Blending Eye Brush
  • Eyeliner: L’Oreal Infallible Longwear Eye Pencil in shade Black Noir
  • Mascara: L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise in shade Blackest Black
  • Eyebrows: L’Oreal Brow Stylist in shade Brunette
  • Liquid Lipstick: Wet N Wild Liquid Catsuit in shade Give Me Mocha
  • Lip Gloss: L’Oreal Infallible Pro Gloss in shade #405

Just because I’m wearing makeup doesn’t mean I always go for the same kind of look so I wanted products that could give me some variety depending on how I was feeling or what I was doing! For a more natural look I only dipped into the shade “Cola Float” from the Soda Pop palette and put it into my crease. I love the way this defined my eyes but still didn’t look too heavy! I also skipped the eyeliner and opted for a lip gloss vs. a bold lip. You guys…this L’Oreal lip gloss…to say that I’m obsessed is an understatement. Actually, this goes for both of the lip products that I picked up…but we’ll get to the other one in a bit 🙂

For a more stand-out/nighttime look I kept the base products the same but added in a little more definition to my eyes and lips! For eyes, using the same Maybelline Soda Pop palette, I took the most gorgeous purple shade “Cherry On Top” and put that on my lids. Then I went in with the darkest shade “Root Beer” for a little more definition in my crease. I LOVE putting shadows on my lower lash line so I once again took the shade “Cola Float” and put some there too!

To further define my eyes, I took my L’Oreal eyeliner and put that both on my upper lash line and on my waterline. Depending on my mood I’ll sometimes just put it on my upper lash line but I was in the mood to do both! As a last step I threw on the Wet N Wild liquid lipstick. I’ve gotten soooo many questions from people about what this lipstick is when I’ve worn it in the past. It’s such a beautiful color!

And that’s it! Two totally different looks all from products that I got at Discount Drug Mart! Discount Drug Mart saves you the runaround so definitely check it out to stock up your 2019 beauty collection!
